10/08/11 - Rocky Menero Returns to EPW

HELL OR HIGHWATER 2011

After his last appearance in Explosive Pro Wrestling was spoilt by the return of Mikey Nicholls, August 13th will see Rocky Menero back in town and looking to take it out on Mikey’s TMDK partner, Shane Haste.

And Menero is a man on a mission. He has sent a message to Haste and anyone who will listen that he doesn’t respect anything about EPW anymore. Menero claims that he is coming to prove that he is the best in Australia and that EPW is just a bush league in comparison to the competition he faces all around this country.

But Haste will be no pushover. Together with Nicholls, he was the first to represent Australia and EPW in Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan. After facing the top flight competition in his travels, Haste feels like he is more than justified in believing the tag ‘Best in Australia’ that has been bestowed on him by almost everyone who’s ever wrestled with or against him.

There is no one wrestler who represents what the EPW style is more than Shane Haste. He was one of the very first graduates of the Dynamite Factory and he has grown through his time with EPW to become a world class wrestler who’s natural ability and hard work have paid of spectacularly.

But Menero can stake claim to having helped build EPW with his own two hands.

In early 2002, Menero and Hartley Jackson helped train the EPW originals who would go on to set up the Dynamite Factory and train Shane Haste. Without Menero, it could be argued that EPW would have never reached the heights that it has over it’s 10 years.

At Hell or Highwater, Shane Haste will go to battle against Rocky Menero and it will not just be personal pride on the line. EPW’s reputation is at stake and Menero will be looking to prove that the best wrestler to ever come from EPW can’t lace his boots.

With all of the amazing matches set to take place, the Vasto Club in Balcatta may struggle to contain all of this action. Together with the three HUGE title matches already signed, this dream match could help make Hell or Highwater THE Event of 2011.

Make sure you secure your tickets NOW to make sure that you don’t miss a second of the action.
