On November 4th 2001, locally produced professional wrestling returned to Western Australia for the first time in over a decade.

16 renegades took part in a one day tournament to decide the very first winner of the Explosive Coastal Wrestling Invitational Tournament. That show laid the foundation for what would become Explosive Professional Wrestling, a group that would become the benchmark for professional wrestling in this country.

On November 12th 2011, we will celebrate ten years of Explosive Pro Wrestling with RE-AWAKENING X.

The Vasto Club in Balcatta will play host to the biggest event in our ten year history and it is already shaping up as a HUGE show.

The main event will see CHAMPION versus CAREER as the EPW Champion, the ‘Golden Greek’ Marcius Pitt, go head to head with ‘Shotgun’ Tyler Jacobs. This is a high stakes match up as Jacobs career hangs in the balance.

For the third time in RE-AWAKENING history, the EPW tag team titles will go on the line in a FOUR TEAM TABLES MATCH. The current champions, AZ Vegara and Jay Taylor, will have their work cut out for them on November 12th. They will have to survive the teams of Jamie Jurah and Jimmy Payne, the Brothers Schmidt and Dan Moore and Chase Griffin. But they will also have to survive the unpredictability that comes with a Tables Match.

The newly crowned EPW Hardcore Champion will have no time to celebrate his victory as he will be forced to face one of the very best wrestlers to ever grace an EPW ring. ‘The Shootfighter’ Gavin McGavin took home the Hardcore Championship at the Telethon Bash but Brett Corvus will now force him to defend it against the former EPW champion, Bobby Marshall.

The Invitational Tournament is down to four men and we will crown the 2011 winner before the end of RE-AWAKENING X. Rising Star Cup winner, Scotty Ryan will have his work cut our for him as he faces a man who has been to the final of the Invitational Tournament before, Carlo ‘Cash Money’ Cannon.

The second semi final will see the issue between Team All Star and the Entourage take centre stage as Sebastian Sander takes on his nemesis, ‘Hollywood’ Kiel Steria.

Speaking of the dramas between the Entourage and Team All Star, this war has been heating up for months and months. At RE-AWAKENING X, these two teams will go to war in a SIX MAN ELIMINATION MATCH. Brad West, Alex ‘AK-47’ Kingston and ‘The Don’ Michael Morleone will face off with ‘A-Town’s Finest’ Rocky Menero, Hayden Zenith and the ‘Real Life Risky Business’ Leo Pratt.

After cutting Rick Sander’s hair at the Telethon Bash, Brett Foxx and Adam Banks will now team up with Sander’s former stablemate, Devlin Reeves, to face off against the three member of The Blackest Hour. All three men say they can’t wait to get their hands on Sanders, Dorian and Adrien Priest at RE-AWAKENING.
