06/04/11 - McGavin vs Schmidt - In the words of the Shootfighter

MIDDAY MAYHEM

I've been in EPW for just over two years now and in that time I've had 29 matches. I bring everything I have to every match that I have. But I won't lie, I've lost more than I have won.

But I’ve been a part of some pretty special events and have managed to win some things that have meant a lot to me. I've been a part of Re-Awakening twice (and managed to be a part of two wins), I won the Most Improved award in 2010 (big thanks to the fans for that one) and I even won the EPW Hardcore Shield!

However, as I look back at my record I noticed a disturbing trend. After two years, and many attempts, I have never pinned or submitted Gorgeous Garry Schmidt! In 12 separate matches that both Garry and I have stepped into the squared circle, I'm yet to put him down for the count.

From day one of my career, Garry Schmidt has been a thorn in my side. From the day he brought me in to EPW, only to stab me in the back, I’ve sworn revenge. And in two years, I’ve only found frustration as I’ve tried to settle the score.

Looking back at this footage I’ve compiled...

Excuse the editing. I’m a shootfighter, not a video editor) explains this trend a little better. Exposed turnbuckles, feet on the ropes, raking the eyes, and even low blows. Every possible shortcut there is to be taken, Garry has taken it.

So with 29 matches down, I want to make number 30 special. After 12 attempts to beat this idiot, let's see if 13 is my lucky number!

To ensure that you do not miss a second of the action, get on down to the Morley Sport and Recreation Centre THIS SUNDAY at 2pm for Explosive Pro Wrestling’s Midday Mayhem. Tickets are still available by clicking here or by phoning us on 0409 373 937.
